MUST See : Insane Eastern Conference battle sees Antetokounmpo’s career high vs firey Embiid

Giannis Antetokounmpo

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a career high 52 points on Sunday night, but it was not enough to overcome Joel Embiid and the 76ers.

The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Milwaukee Bucks 130-125 in an insane matchup in Milwaukee. Giannis Antetokounmpo had himself a ridiculously productive night. The forward had 52 points, 16 rebounds, and 7 assists, leading all scorers, and recording his career-high in points in a game. On the other side, Joel Embiid was not far behind Giannis. Embiid had 40 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists, leading the 76ers to a big road win in the Eastern Conference.

With the win, the 76ers continue their climb in the Eastern Conference standings. Philadelphia has already passed the Pacers, and is now bearing down on the Raptors for second place. The 76ers are riding a four game win streak, and have an outside chance at sneaking up on the struggling Raptors, and overcoming them in the standings. As expected, this 76ers team is looking like the real deal heading into the postseason. Mid-season acquisition Tobias Harris has been a difference maker for Philly, giving the team a consistent threat on the glass and in the scoring department. Harris is averaging 19.5 points and 8.0 rebounds in his last 10 games, and will be one of many big players for the 76ers in this year’s playoffs.

Up next, the 76ers will travel to Charlotte to take on the Hornets, while the Bucks will try to bounce back against the LA Lakers, with both games coming on Tuesday.
